History
In July 1966 meetings were held to establish the Tin Can Bay Country Club with the first bowling greens sod being turned in July 1972 and completed with grass from the Woombye Bowls Club.
The first Bowls Committee was formed in September 1974. Major improvements were carried out in 1977 and as membership grew a second green was built and opened in 1998.
Lights were added to the first green and in early 2007 a retractable shade cloth was installed.
