Online internet golf competition bookings (coming soon)

The "Kiosk" touchscreen golf competition booking system is being installed and should be available late June/early July 2009 (training and testing of the new system is currently taking place)

This is an 18 hole course in a "figure of 8 format" with holes 1 and 10 near the start and finish area.

Men's new handicap divisions from 1st December 2008 - In view of the men's handicaps now out to 36 for all events (except ambrose), there will be new grades and divisions to reflect the higher handicap range. Please see new rules. The only exception is Ambrose events which will generally be limited to maximum 27 for men and 36 for ladies.

Golf committee structure - a single golf committee comprising 15 members is now in place - more here

Green Fees - If you do not pay bulk green fees, in order to play golf you will have to pay for your daily green fees. Motorised buggies and Golf Clubs are available to hire

Reciprocal golf club arrangements - Tin Can Bay golf club has agreed reciprocal arrangements with other golf clubs. These reciprocal arrangements may change and members are recommended to contact the golf club on the reciprocal club list to check current applicability of reciprocal rights.

Tin Can Bay golf club weekly format - The weekly format for play is usually as follows :

Monday - no competitions, course open to social play all day

Tuesday - Mens Vets competitions from 1030 - 1700 approx

Wednesday - Ladies competitions from 0930 - 1400 approx

Thursday - there is a 9 hole "Thursday Club"

Friday - a "social" Chook Competition of 9 holes - all visitors welcome

Saturday and Sundays - Competitions from 1100 - 1700 approx

Please note - For all golf members, an annual Australian Golf Union (AGU) fee is due from 1st January. In future this will be collected by the Tin Can Bay Country Club in the fees from July 2008. In the meantime, all golf members must pay $16.50 for the period 1st January - 30th June 2008 - please pay the golf secretary or at TCB reception (make sure you secure a receipt).

Tin Can Bay golf club course scorecard for the 18 holes - please note that the men's ACR became 70 from March 2009 and that the Tin Can Bay scorecard is being re-printed. The Matchplay index is now the same as the general index for that hole. From 1st May 2009 the Tin Can Bay golf course hole indexes changed - please refer to the new scorecard.
